Figment Productions is a multi-award winning digital production company that delivers immersive creative content internationally. I was delighted to work on several long term projects with Figment as a Motion Graphics Artist, ranging from virtual reality experiences to large scale video projections, some of which are yet to be revealed to the public.
DIVE THE MARY ROSE 4D
Dive the Mary Rose 4D tells the story of the finding, excavation and recovery of the Mary Rose. As well as working on several stereoscopic sequences for the 4D film, I crafted a nine minute Pre Show which visitors watch before entering the cinema. Narrated by Ross Kemp, this Pre Show animation uses historical images, archive footage and diary entries from military historian and diver Alexander McKee to recount how the wreck of the famous ship was first discovered.
FLYING SCOTSMAN VR EXPERIENCE
Flying Scotsman VR Experience takes visitors on a journey back in time and around the world, joining the greatest moments in the locomotive’s past 100 years. As Motion Graphics Artist I made animatics for VR scenes, designed the UI for the experience and produced the 2D animated content within the scene.
THE GUNPOWDER PLOT
The Gunpowder Plot at the Tower of London is a thrilling immersive adventure featuring Tom Felton as Guy Fawkes. I worked on rotoscoping in VR scenes and produced an animated briefing video for visitors to watch upon entering the experience.
SEA AT NIGHT - SEA LIFE KONSTANZ
Sea Life in Konstanz, Germany recently reopened after a major refurbishment, welcoming back visitors with their new Sea at Night exhibition. As Producer and Motion Graphics Artist, I liaised with the creative team at Merlin and worked with a team of CGI artists and animators to create a looping animation of different ray species to be projected in their updated North Sea at Night section.
PIRATES EXHIBITION
The Pirates Exhibition at the National Maritime Museum in Cornwall explores how popular culture has shaped how we think of pirates today. I was part of the design team that produced motion graphics and a large scale projection for the exhibition.
MERYAL WATER PARK, DOHA
Meryal is the largest water Park in Qatar, with a huge variety of exciting attractions packed in to 6 acres of space. I produced motion graphics for an edutainment experience, telling the story of Qatar's development and the history of oil and gas.
hOPETOWN DARLINGTON
Opening in Summer 2024, Hopetown Darlington tells the story of Darlington's engineering past. I was involved at the early stages of this project, producing motion graphics for two exhibits.
